What is this?
Completing this form will request the creation of a module you can import into your D2L course. The module contains links to library related resources that you select (see form). Within 2 business days of submitting the form, you will receive an email with a link to a file you can download and import into D2L.
How do I import the module into D2L?
What is a consultant librarian?
Selecting this option, based on availability and with your permission, a librarian will be assigned the Librarian role in D2L. This role allows access to the Content and Discussion section of your course, but NOT the Gradebook. Once in your course, the librarian can field questions about research, library usage and help students identify resources and develop search strategies for their research.
Should I use a consultant librarian?
Do any of your assignments require research? If so, a librarian would be helpful, especially if you require peer-reviewed sources. A librarian can guide students to more authoritative sources.
How can I partner with the library to develop an instructional aid for my course?
The Library is always interested in partnering with faculty to develop instructional aids. If you have an idea for something that you would use with your classes, please contact your subject liaison.
