Ms. Lynn Griffith

As chief marketing and communication officer, Lynn Griffith, Comm '09, Grad '15, leads Marquette University’s marketing and communication functions within the Office of University Relations, which include strategy and planning, media relations, internal and executive communications, social media, issues and crisis management, advertising, digital, design, editorial and brand management.

Lynn previously served as the assistant vice president of university communication within the Office of University Relations at Marquette. The mission of the Office of University Relations is to serve the Marquette community as strategic partners, connectors and storytellers, with the ultimate purpose of elevating the Marquette brand to transform lives.

Prior to joining Marquette, Lynn was a vice president at Chicago-based Reputation Partners Communications, where she helped start the firm’s Milwaukee office. She previously worked in the Office of Marketing and Communication at Marquette managing internal and executive communication.

Lynn is a member of TEMPO Milwaukee, serves on the marketing committee of VISIT Milwaukee, is a mentor in the award-winning Marquette Mentors program, and serves as the adviser to Marquette’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. She formerly served on the board of PRSA of Southeastern Wisconsin and as a founding board member of Impact100 Greater Milwaukee, a women’s collective philanthropy organization.

Lynn earned her bachelor’s degree from Marquette University, graduating summa cum laude. She also earned her MBA from Marquette University.

Lynn, her husband Brendan and their two children are members of St. Robert Parish in Shorewood, Wisconsin.
