Facilities Planning and Management

Facilities Planning and Management manages building & general systems maintenance, custodial services, grounds, mail services, parking, planning & project delivery and trucking.

In some instances your event may require equipment and/or furnishings that are not included in the standard set up of a particular academic space. For delivery of tables & chairs or to have furnishings removed or relocated a Facilities Services Request should be submitted.

For more information and a full list of their services, please visit the Facilities Planning and Management site.

Parking Services

The Parking Service Office is responsible for all parking on campus, including surface parking lots, parking structures, and restricted areas such as the malls and loading zones.

For more information, please visit the Parking Services page.

Office of the Registrar

The Office of the Registrar's main responsibility is to maintain current academic records and preserve for history. Additionally, they are responsible for assigning academic classroom space. After all classes have been assigned, use of general pool academic classroom space can be reserved through the Office of the Registrar for use by university departments and registered student organizations to hold university related meetings.

Academic space is defined as space in any building in which the dean of a college/school or an academic department chair is housed and any space used for academic classes/labs, regardless of location.

University departments can request general pool classroom space online through the Office of the Registrar using 25Live

Registered student organizations and off campus groups should contact the Alumni Memorial Union Event Services Office in person, AMU 245 or by calling (414) 288-7202.  Online requests are also accepted.

Note: The Varsity Theater and Weasler Auditorium are shared locations between the Alumni Memorial Union and the Office of the Registrar and can only be reserved through the AMU Event Services Office.
