Welcome to AMU Event Services Office

The AMU Event Services Office serves as a resource to the entire university, providing expertise and guidance in the planning and implementation of events hosted by individual colleges, departments and registered and approved student organizations.  Our mission is to successfully coordinate your program from initial concept to completion of the event in collaboration with the Office of Student Development; in partnership with department campus partners.  We are committed to providing university community high quality customer service through each step of your event planning process. 




New name, same great service! We have changed our name from Event Management to AMU Event Services.



We are also excited to announce our new Catering Guides!


The MCity guide will serve as your guide for hosting events on campus. New buffet options, breakfasts, appetizers, served dinners and local flare will bring a new experience to your planning and hosting events.

Students!! - We are so excited about our new student guide - Craveable Creations! Built upon feedback from student leaders and planners, we used these suggestions to expand on and bring new options to this guide. We look forward to this planning experience!



Updated Marquette University Facility Usage and Fee Structure

In an effort to eliminate fees to MU community meetings and events, effective July 1, 2016, the Alumni Memorial Union in collaboration with the Division of Student Affairs, Provost, and Budget Offices have established a pricing structure for University Hosted Events and Non-University Group Events. Beginning July 1, 2016, university departments and registered & approved student organizations will no longer be charged for use of meeting/event space(s), AV and Non-AV equipment or labor when criteria as defined in the Guidelines for Determining MU Facility Usage are met.
