Clinical Assistant Professor

Physical Therapy

Anne Pleva is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Marquette University College of Health Sciences Program in Physical Therapy. Anne graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1993. She is a dedicated clinician earning status as a Pediatric Certified Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2006. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Post-Professional Certificate in Pediatric Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2014.

Anne served as a lab supervisor and adjunct faculty member beginning in 2011 and began teaching as a core faculty member in 2015. She is a part time faculty member who continues to practice in the area of pediatrics at Marquette Neuro Recovery Clinic.

Anne has extensive clinical experience in outpatient pediatrics with an emphasis on treating patients with various developmental disabilities. She also has expertise in adaptive equipment, program development, management, early intervention and continuing education. Anne teaches from an evidence based, as well as, clinical perspective and engages students with practical application to clinical practice.
