A Message From Dr. Jim McMahon
The recent news of Fr. Pilarz’s resignation no doubt came as a surprise to the entire Marquette community. We in Residence Life are grateful for his service to our students and making you the priority in his decisions. It is with this same sense of purpose that we do the work we do.
Under the leadership of Interim President Rev. Robert Wild, S.J. we will continue to offer programs and services with your intellectual, physical, spiritual, emotional, and social development at the heart of our efforts.
I hope your semester has gotten off to a good start and wish you much success in your future endeavors.
Dr. Jim McMahon,
Associate Vice President and Dean of Residence Life

RESIDENCE HALL ASSOCIATION (RHA) EVENTS
Annual HALLoween on October 30
HALLoween is one of Marquette's most rewarding fall traditions! This annual program opens the doors of our residence halls to kids from the several communities surrounding Marquette to come and Trick or Treat at YOUR door. See the true spirit of Halloween as kids who would otherwise be unable to Trick or Treat come through the residence halls, stop at participating rooms, and excitedly ring in Halloween with a resounding "TRICK OR TREAT!"
HALLoween will take place during the afternoon of Wednesday October 30th. Stayed tuned for information from the Residence Hall Association (RHA) and from your RA about how to get involved as either a candy distributing room or a chaperone (called "gHosts"). Mark your calendars for the program today - you're not going to want to miss this service based program that is so fun ... it's almost a little scary!
