Drive Well, No Cell

Drivers making a phone call are four times more likely to cause an accident than other drivers.

For Faculty, Administrators and Staff

Sometimes the small things we do for one another mean the most. When you decide not to use your cell phone while driving, you are showing extra care for pedestrians, your fellow drivers, and your family as well as yourself. So please join me in showing our fellow Wisconsinites that Marquette thinks wellness and safety are serious business. Many thanks!

Dr. John Pauly
Provost, Marquette University

Provost John Pauly challenged Marquette employees to "drive well without a cell" during the month of October 2010. 277 employees pledged to refrain from texting or using a cell phone while driving to improve their and others' safety.
