Back Care

Most people will have a minor back problem at some point in their life. Back pain can cause problems from the tailbone to the neck and is most often caused by injuries, often occur during sports, recreational activities, work and home projects.

Preventing back pain includes exercising regularly and using good back techniques at home and work. Exercises that strengthen the back muscles allow them to withstand the rigors of everyday activities. Good back techniques include adopting a straight posture and using the legs instead of the back while lifting.
