The Department of Public Safety will issue text message safety alerts in addition to emailed safety alerts when an incident occurs on or near campus.
The text message includes the location and nature of the incident and will indicate that additional information and updates can be found on this page.
Information will be posted here as it becomes available. Public Safety and area law enforcement agencies continue to investigate these activities and may provide supplemental or updated information to the community as appropriate.
Faculty and staff with university-owned cell phones will automatically receive text alerts. Faculty and staff without university phones can opt in to receiving text alerts from the university by registering their personal phone number in the "Personal Information" section of MyJob.
