Past Events

In Fall 2022, we welcomed PBK Visiting Scholar Ganesh Sitaraman to campus for a series of events.  Professor Sitarman holds the New York Alumni Chancellor's Chair in Law at Vanderbilt Law School, where he teaches and writes about constitutional law, regulation, economic policy, and democracy.

The events were co-sponsored by the Center for the Advancement of the Humanities, the Civic Dialogues Program, and the Departments of Political Science and Social & Cultural Sciences:

  • "The Future of Supreme Court Reform," Thursday, September 29, 4 p.m., Lunda Room (AMU).
  • "Breaking Up and Regulating Big Tech," a moderated discussion with Professor Amber Wichowsky (Political Science) and Michael Zimmer (Computer Science), Friday, September 30, 12:30 p.m., AMU 254.

In Fall 2020, our chapter hosted a series of events with PBK Visiting Scholar Dr. Susan R. Wolf, Edna J. Koury Distinguished Professor of Philosophy, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill:
