Congratulations on your decision to join the Marquette community! We are glad you are here, and we look forward to welcoming you on campus. The Office of Student Development plans three special events for incoming students and their families, to help you prepare for your transition to life at Marquette.
Marquette Preview, in June, is for new freshmen and their families. Preview is optional but highly recommended.
New Student Orientation, is mandatory for all first-year students, and includes a variety of events for new and transfer students. The 2014 New Student Orientation will take place August 20-24, 2014. Orientation takes place during the first week that students are back on campus.
Family Orientation, Parents and family members of new first year and transfer students were invited to attend Family Orientation, on Wednesday, August 21 and Thursday, August 22. Family Orientation included events for adult family members as well as events for younger siblings (ages 5-16).
Winter Orientation, happens in January, and is for new freshmen and transfer students admitted for the Spring semester. For details on Winter Orientation 2015 please check back in fall 2014.
