Marquette has a policy to assist our students who may be called to active military service while enrolled in school.

The student's responsibility:

  • Contact your college office to inform them of your activation
  • Provide a copy of your activation orders to your college

The college office will provide guidance about options for course enrollment, grades, financial aid, bursar and registration as needed.

If you are receiving veterans affairs' educational benefits, you must also contact the veterans' benefits coordinator in the Office of the Registrar and provide a copy of your activation orders because it may affect your VA benefits.

Before or upon your discharge from active service, contact the veterans' benefits coordinator in the Office of the Registrar for information on what needs to be accomplished to resume your studies at Marquette and resume your VA benefits.

The Office of the Registrar is the official keeper of academic records including course registrations, grades, transcripts and diplomas.
