Amount:  $2,000
Deadline:  March 1, 2015

Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident and a high school senior who has shown a significant interest in pursuing a career as a K-12 educator with a strong interest in mathematics.

Edward G. and Helen A. Borgens Elementary and Secondary Teacher Education Scholarships
Amount:  $1,500
Deadline:  February 15, 2015

Applicant must be sophomore studying to teach at either the elementary school level or at the secondary level.  Applicant must have at least a 3.5 GPA.

Mister Rogers Memorial Scholarship
Amount:  $10,000
Deadline:  February 8, 2015

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment - through coursework or experience - to any combination of at least two of the following fields: early childhood education, child development/child psychology, film/television production, music, and animation. Applicant must have the ultimate goal of working in children's media.

Sister Mary Petronia Van Straten and Ethel A. Neijahr Scholarships
Amount:  $2,000
Deadline:  March 1, 2015

Eligible students must be legal residents of Wisconsin currently enrolled in an education program.  Students must currently be enrolled in or have already completed a course in methods of teaching mathematics and currently have a GPA of at least 3.0.

The UCT Heaston Scholarship
Amount:  $3,000 and $6,000
Deadline:  March 15, 2015

Applicants must be high schools seniors who are able to demonstrate evidence of hard work and overcoming obstacles to achieve their goals as well as a commitment to community service.  Preference will be given to students wishing to pursue an education degree in order to teach special needs students, but applicants entering other degree programs are encouraged to apply.

Wisconsin Education Association Council Scholarships
Amount:  $750
Deadline:  February 1, 2015

Applicant must be a high school senior who is the child of a member of WEAC.  Applicant must be planning to pursue an education major or minor and teach in Wisconsin. The applicant must rank in the top 25% of his/her graduating class or have achieved a 3.0 cumulative grade point average at the time of application.  Student must show evidence of involvement in school and community activities.
