About Mission & Ministry

Collaboration between the offices of Faber Center, Campus Ministry, Institute for Catholic Leadership, Manresa for Faculty, Mission and Ministry, Center for Peacemaking, and other university partners.

The Office of Mission and Ministry at Marquette University serves faculty and staff of every faith by providing opportunities for reflection, attentiveness, and action. In alignment with Marquette’s mission to foster personal and professional excellence and promote a life of faith, Mission and Ministry collaborates with the Faber Center for Ignatian Spirituality, Campus Ministry, Manresa for Faculty, Center for Peacemaking,  and other key stakeholders throughout the university and community.

With the same pioneering and collaborative spirit of Father Jacques Marquette and a commitment to Jesuit education, the Office of Mission and Ministry invites all faculty and staff to see their work as part of the long-standing tradition of service leadership and excellence alive at Marquette.

Marquette's Mission

Dedicated to serving God by serving our students, faculty, and staff, Marquette University contributes to the advancement of knowledge by searching for truth, discovering and sharing knowledge, fostering personal and professional excellence, promoting a life of faith, and developing service leadership in others.

At Marquette, we believe the pursuit of excellence is a lifelong endeavor and education needs to encompass the whole person, through formation of the mind and heart. We are committed to the unfettered pursuit of truth under the mutually illuminating powers of human intelligence and Christian faith. All members of the Marquette community, from every faith tradition, give concrete expression to these beliefs by giving of themselves in service to those in need.
