August 2013 - Students have a new online option for reserving student group study rooms in Raynor Library.
The student group study rooms in Raynor are popular locales for students to work on projects and study collaboratively. Reservations for these rooms have traditionally been made in person or by phone at the Raynor Library Circulation Desk. However, new software makes this process easier by allowing students to schedule and edit their own reservations online. Reservations can be made from the dedicated webpage, http://marquette.libcal.com/booking/groupstudy, using any computer or mobile device or by scanning the QR code, right, with a smartphone.
Library staff are available to help students with the online reservation process. However, phone and walk-up reservations will no longer be taken.
Groups of three or more students can reserve a room for up to two hours at a time. Reservations should be made at least one hour prior to the reservation.
We welcome your feedback during this trial period. Please send comments and concerns to Joan Sommer, firstname.lastname@example.org.
