President Lovell, Men's Basketball Coach Steve Wojciechowski and Women's Basketball Coach Carolyn Kieger will participate in Al's Run. Members of the Marquette community can register online. Student runners who are registered with the Marquette team and beat President Lovell's time will receive a special T-shirt, sponsored by MUSG.

A small group of student leaders will volunteer at Bay View United Methodist Church's Bread and Jam Free Community Meal and engage in reflection afterward. President Lovell will participate in this invitation-only event.

Join President Lovell for a carnival-themed social gathering with lawn games and contests, sponsored by the Residence Hall Association and Hall Councils. Carnival activities will include a tie-dye station (students need to bring their own items to tie dye), a dunk tank, a duck pond, lawn bowling, a photo booth, a bounce house, and free treats, including cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones.

Join President Lovell and Mrs. Amy Lovell for glow-in-the-dark BINGO to support her charity, REDGen, a community action group committed to promoting balance and resiliency in the lives of youth and families. This event is sponsored by Active Minds, Marquette's student group dedicated to mental health awareness, the Residence Hall Association, the Counseling Center and Sigma Phi Epsilon. BINGO prizes will include a meal with the Lovells and men's basketball season tickets.

Inauguration Ceremony | 3:00 p.m., Al McGuire Center
Doors open at 2 p.m. Delegates and Inauguration Ceremony participants, including faculty in the academic procession, should report to the Al McGuire Center at 2 p.m. Classes are cancelled beginning at 3 p.m. so that faculty, staff and students can attend the ceremony.
MUSG is sponsoring a "gold out" for the Inauguration Ceremony. The first 500 students to pick up their Inauguration tickets will receive a free, gold Inauguration T-shirt to wear to the ceremony. Faculty participating in the academic procession do not need a ticket for the Inauguration Ceremony. One ticket per Marquette ID for staff, students and faculty not participating in the academic procession can be picked up in the Alumni Memorial Union, Brooks Lounge.

Join students, faculty, staff, alumni, delegates from peer institutions and friends of the university for light refreshments and conversation to celebrate the next chapter in Marquette's history. Inauguration Music Festival | 9:00 p.m., Central Mall
President Lovell will attend this event, which will be the culmination of Greek Week, a series of competitive events held during the previous week for members of the Greek community on campus. The concert is free and open to all students.

President Lovell will give the keynote address at this required, by invitation only institute for all student organization leaders, which provides foundational leadership training for student organization leaders.
Presidential Inauguration Academic Symposium
Answering the Call: Marquette’s Response to the Civil Rights Movement | 4:00 p.m.,
The Presidential Inauguration Academic Symposium will tell the story of Marquette students’ response to the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., in the spring of 1968, the founding of the Educational Opportunity Program at Marquette in 1969 and how the university helped take the program nationwide with the founding of the Council for Opportunity in Education in 1981.
Five panelists, each of whom played a distinct role in the promotion of social justice by supporting the civil rights movement at Marquette, will be interviewed by award-winning journalist and Distinguished Fellow in Law and Public Policy Mike Gousha:
