Inauguration

Marquette is grateful for all delegates who will serve as designated representatives of their institutions and organizations at the Inauguration of Dr. Michael R. Lovell.

If you have not already registered using the response card mailed to your institution, you may register now using the below delegate registration form. After you submit your registration, more information will be sent to you.

Reporting for the Inauguration Ceremony
The Inauguration Ceremony will take place Friday, September 19, at 3 p.m. at the Al McGuire Center on the Marquette campus. Delegates and Ceremony participants should arrive by 2 p.m. with academic apparel and report to the robing room on the lower level. Volunteers will help direct you to the appropriate room. Procession line-up will begin at 2:45 p.m. in order to begin the Inauguration Ceremony promptly at 3 p.m.

Shuttle Service
Delegates and Inauguration Ceremony participants staying in hotel blocks listed in the Inauguration invitation will be provided with complimentary shuttle service to and from campus. Plan to take the 1:30 p.m. shuttle to report to the Al McGuire Center by 2 p.m. Please refer to the Visitors' Packet in the welcome materials at your hotel for more information.

Parking
Complimentary parking for delegates and Inauguration Ceremony participants is available in the Wells Street Parking Structure, located at 1240 W. Wells St, near the Al McGuire Center.

Join the Inauguration Reception
All delegates and Inauguration Ceremony participants are invited to the Inauguration Reception immediately following the ceremony at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium and Recreation Center. Please join us as we celebrate the next chapter in Marquette's history. If you have not already responded, please do so as soon as possible to universityspecialevents@marquette.edu.
