RETIREMENT PLAN ENHANCEMENTS

Marquette added the following enhancements to retirement plans:

The enhancements are intended to give faculty and staff more flexibility when making contributions to retirement accounts.

2017 ANNUAL BENEFITS ENROLLMENT

The annual enrollment for 2017 benefits is closed. If you did not visit Myjob to enter changes to your 2017 benefits, 2016 health, dental and/or vision coverage will be continued for 2017. However, any FSA coverage will be discontinued as of January 1, 2017.

Benefit elections and/or modifications made during the open enrollment period will be effective January 1, 2017, and will remain in effect for the entire calendar year (January 1 through December 31). Mid-year changes are not allowed unless you experience a qualified life event and provide timely notification to HR-Benefits (within 30 calendar days of the event).

 

HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENTS (HRA)

While the process remained the same, Marquette is changed the HRA incentive amount and method for 2017. Instead of a monthly premium discount, HRA participants enrolling in the EPO plan will receive a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) contribution of $125 for Single coverage or $250 for non-Single (Employee +1 or Family) coverage. HRA participants enrolling in the PPO or HDHP plan will receive a Health Savings Account (HSA) contribution of $250 for Single coverage or $500 for non-Single coverage. Please note that covered spouses must also complete the HRA process (in addition to the employee) in order for the employee to receive the incentive. The Marquette contribution will be deposited into the FSA or HSA by January 13, 2017.

 

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO RETAIN A COPY OF YOUR HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENT (HRA) INFORMATION FOR YOUR RECORDS.

If you would like to print off another copy of your online questionnaire, you can log back into the portal with the same login credentials you used when filling out the HRA questionnaire or you can call Aurora at 877-765-3213, Option #1.
