Educational Programs for University Students
We encourage students from across the campus to apply for internships. Student interns work closely with museum staff in all departments including: exhibitions, education and marketing. Internships can be arranged for class credit in accordance with the professor you are working with and the Haggerty supervisor. Students interested in applying for an internship should email a resume and cover letter that identifies the department you are interested in working with and your goals for an internship to firstname.lastname@example.org
Art Club is open to all Marquette students. The purpose of the club is to provide unique art experiences including: behind the scenes tours of the Haggerty, outings to art museums and galleries, opportunities to meet with (Haggerty) visiting artists, attend art workshops and connect with other students who are interested in art. For additional information, contact Lynne Shumow, Curator for Academic Engagement.
Student Advisory Committee
The Haggerty Museum of Art Student Advisory Committee is a volunteer organization comprised of students from diverse disciplines. The group meets monthly to plan programs and evaluate museum activities. The committee’s input is vital to the Haggerty’s mission of enriching the intellectual and creative lives of students and communities at large through engagement with the museum’s collections, exhibitions, and programs.
If you are interested in being part of the Haggerty Museum of Art Student Advisory Committee, please contact Lynne Shumow at email@example.com.
The museum hosts receptions and lectures in conjunction with exhibition openings in the fall, spring and summer and also presents public programs throughout the course of each semester. Join our mailing list or connect with us on social media for the most up-to-date information.
Use the Galleries
The Haggerty is meant to be a resource for students. We encourage you to study (or take a study break) in the galleries!
