Marquette's doctor of physical therapy program allows you to complete two degrees in six years — most of our PT students earn an undergraduate major in athletic training or exercise physiology — so you'll have dual credentials to make you even more marketable. Many go on to work in hospitals, outpatient clinics, sports medicine settings, school systems and rehabilitation centers around the country.

Jobs for physical therapy majors

Marquette's physical therapy majors are in demand. Jobs for physical therapists are expected to grow 30 percent through 2018, much faster than the average for other occupations, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. One hundred percent of Marquette's physical therapy graduates are employed within six months of graduation.
