What Can You Do With a Major in Physical Therapy?

Physical therapy major careers and jobs

Marquette's doctor of physical therapy program allows you to complete two degrees in six years — most of our PT students earn an undergraduate major in exercise physiology — so you'll have dual credentials to make you even more marketable. Many go on to work in hospitals, outpatient clinics, sports medicine settings, school systems and rehabilitation centers around the country.

Jobs for physical therapy majors

Marquette's physical therapy majors are in demand. Employment of physical therapists is projected to grow 17 percent from 2021 to 2031, much faster than the average for all occupations. One hundred percent of Marquette's physical therapy graduates are employed within six months of graduation.
