Our shadow visits are day-long events led by current students (our Marquette experts) where you experience first-hand academic and social life on campus. You will attend classes, eat in a dining hall, and live a day in the life of a Marquette student.

Registration for shadow visits opens on Monday, October 3.

After you register, you will receive a confirmation email that will have more details including parking information. For any additional questions, contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 414/288-7302.

Please note that Fall Shadow visits are reserved for students who have applied to Marquette and visits will close 2 weeks prior to the event.

What to expect during your shadow visit experience:

  • 7:45 a.m. Check in. Light refreshments provided.
  • 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students depart with their hosts for their shadow experience.
    • 8 a.m. We will have a brief parent information session that will go over next steps and things for parents to do while students are with their hosts.
  • 3 p.m. Check out. As students trickle back to Zilber Hall, we will check them out and answer any lingering questions. You will also have opportunities to visit additional locations on campus and speak with an admission counselor.
