The 7-member student team is currently going through a training program, to begin presentations on the selected topics in January 2013. Campus experts on the following topics have begun presenting educational sessions to the group: sexual violence, alcohol and other drugs, student athletes, Greek life, campus safety, hazing, general health and wellness, and multicultural competence.
Following these foundational knowledge sessions, the team will be trained to facilitate the Step Up! curriculum and will learn important components of the Campus 360 Safety Program. With this baseline knowledge, the team will then be trained to deliver the 90-minute Marquette University Bystander Intervention curriculum. The Marquette University specific curriculum is based on the T.A.K.E.S. A.C.T.I.O.N. acronym.
