All undergraduate, graduate students, and alumni interested in
using the Career Services Center in their job search MUST REGISTER
on-line through MU Career Manager. Registering allows you to have
your resume critiqued by a professional career counselor, view
full-time job openings and internships
on-line, register for on-campus
interviews, and if eligible, submit an on-line
resume (required for resume referral and participation in on campus
interviews), have your resume sent to employers off campus via
the resume referral
program, and receive career event and program information
via e-mails or phone calls from the Career Services Center.
Directions to register:
- Register with MU Career Manager by uploading your resume.
- A professional career counselor will access the MU Career Manager resume accounts each weekday morning and critique student resumes only if the student requests feedback on their resume.
- Students will receive an e-mail stating one of the following:
- Your resume is great. Your MU Career Manager account has been approved.
- Your resume needs minor changes. I have made them and attached an updated version of your resume. If you are satisfied with the changes, you may proceed. Your MU Career Manager account has been approved.
- Your resume needs major work. Your resume is in need of major work, so we can not approve your MU Career Manager account until changes have been made. Please call to schedule a resume appointment with a career counselor. Once you have uploaded your revised resume, your MU Career Manager account will be approved.
- BEFORE YOU SIGN UP FOR ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWS:
- During the academic year when classes are in session, we offer MU Career Manager Orientation sessions. We strongly encourage you attend an Orientation
Session. There are no orientations in the summer.
