More information below about cap and gown pickup, academic apparel and diploma distribution
There is no charge to the graduate for academic apparel, and pickup only takes a few minutes of your time. If the candidate cannot pick up his/her own apparel, a friend or a relative may come in his/her place. Information needed to pick up the cap and gown is the candidate’s name, degree, height, and college.
- No preordering is necessary for undergraduates.
- May retain or recycle their “Renew” cap, gown, and tassel. These keepsake gowns are produced from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles.
Doctoral and Master Candidates
- The deadline to order academic apparel has now passed. If you are a doctoral or master’s candidate and did not order your academic apparel for commencement, you can still pick up apparel on one of the dates listed below.
- Academic apparel (gowns and hoods) must be returned to the representative of the cap and gown company immediately following the Commencement program or at the sites of the individual graduation programs in the afternoon. (Tassels may be retained as a keepsake if desired.)
