Frances Richards, Sp '78, received her Ph.D. in business from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Fla.
Mark Brady, Arts '84, and James Smith-Vandergriff, Eng '01, competed with their barbecue team, Roadkill BBQ, in the American Royal Barbecue Contest held in Kansas City, Mo. The contest is known as the "World Series of Barbecue." Brady's and Smith-Vandergriff’s team took 12th place out of 170 contestants in the invitational pork contest and 4th place out of 562 contestants in the open pork competition.
Mary “Micki” Napp, Bus Ad '70, retired from IBM and moved to Lake Tahoe, Nev. There she teaches aqua fitness and kayaks with her husband, Phil, and their poodle, Louie.

Come home for Thanksgiving at Gesu
Whether you live in the Milwaukee area or will travel to visit family and friends on Thanksgiving, please join fellow alumni and friends for Thanksgiving Day Mass at the Church of the Gesu at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28.
Start off the day of Thanksgiving by giving thanks to God. Free parking will be available in Lot F (enter on 12th Street).

After Sarah Loeffel, Eng '09, finished the first term of her co-op experience at Baxter Healthcare in Round Lake, Ill., she returned to Marquette with a head start on some of her classmates. Marquette will welcome five- to 45-year reunion classes, the 50-year Golden Jubilee class and several affinity groups back home to campus.
