Carole’s degree was a springboard to a career in the lab, classroom and business world, including 20 years with Schwarz Pharma Inc., where she was vice president of marketing and a member of the executive management team.

Shirley Gutkowski, Dent Hy ’99

Shirley’s commitment to oral health advocacy led her to leave her clinical practice and seek a wider audience. In 2003 she founded Cross Link Presentations and a new career in consulting, writing and speaking was born.

Founding partner of Milder and Associates, Jim is a regular panelist and lecturer at Chicago-area schools of physical therapy.

Dorothy Wood Schlueter

Dorothy Wood Schlueter, Sp ’63, Grad ’68, Grad '85

After receiving her degrees from Marquette, Dorothy joined the university’s Speech Pathology and Audiology Department. She retired in 2006 after 37 years of service.

Chris began his career as physician assistant, then graduated from medical school in 2007. He’s now a resident at University of Wisconsin – Madison Hospital and Clinics.
