College of Engineering named to honor alumnus, Opus Group founder Gerry Rauenhorst

Marquette has announced it is naming its engineering college the Opus College of Engineering to honor the life and legacy of alumnus Gerald “Gerry” Rauenhorst, who founded The Opus Group, a family of commercial real estate development, construction and design companies.

On Friday, Oct. 3, the university will honor the legacy and life of Rauenhorst, who died in April. The celebration will begin at 1 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union.
