Dr. Lori Bergen, dean of Marquette University’s Diederich College of Communication, has been named to the Poynter National Advisory Board. The prestigious Poynter Institute for Media Studies is a global leader in journalism education and a strategy center that stands for excellence in journalism, media and 21st century public discourse.
Bergen will serve a two-year term on the 10-person board, which advises Poynter’s faculty and staff on trends shaping various media industries.
